1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom *CLEAN*

So – This 1969 Les Paul Custom is the 4th guitar I’ve found in the last 4 months that has basically never been out of the house, has never really been played, and is an original owner guitar.

Like the owner of the Guild Starfire 3, mid-sixties Special Order Sunburst we have listed (who had to wait a year to have  the factory sunburst it) this Les Paul Custom owner found his guitar so beautiful he didn’t want to scratch it up!
This ’69 Black Custom has less wear than a branny new guitar hanging in a Guitar Center for a week! I mean, it’s ‘As New’!
Three piece mahogany neck, long tenon, no volute, only 9.3 pounds, light for a late 60′s Les Paul, this is the one to play and display. Want to take it out and beat it to death? Buy a beater or a re-fin. I sorta wish the damn thing didn’t sound and play so well, even with it’s ‘ Fretless Wonder’ frets ( original, of course)…good late 60′s Les Pauls are massive sounding guitars – funny how we all jumped on the replacement pickup bandwagon back in the late 70′s, early 80′s…. Whether it’s just built right with good wood or the fact that its been aging for a lot of years – guitar sounds fantastic….
You’re gonna want to play it – how often to you get to break in a 44 year old guitar? With its original, lovely case…. 12k for a no stories, AS NEW 1969 Les Paul Custom.

1966 Guild Starfire III

This guitar drove me crazy.  The original owner, who ordered the guitar in 1965, did not want it in red – the way pretty much all of them came in ’65. It was his first guitar, his heroes played Guild, so he wanted it in Sunburst just like their Artist Awards. Took him a year to get it. He was insanely happy with the guitar – the most beautiful thing he possessed – other than his wife – His words, not mine….The guitar had pride of place in his home – in the case, under the freakin’ bed. when I first saw the guitar I could see it had really never been played. Considering how much he liked it, why didn’t he play it? Too pretty, he said. Other than a coupla strums, he’d take it out of the case to admire it once in a while – that’s it.He had beat up Guild classical that he banged around on once in a while, but, he says now – “Shit gets in the way…”     The guitar, with its special ordered Sunburst finish, is dead mint and plays and sounds fantastic. Comes with the original case and cool case candy. $3500

SOLD!!! — Fender Custom Shop Mary Kaye Stratocaster Relic — SOLD!!!

This is a great custom shop Mary Kaye from 2000. We got it from a studio guy on a trade for an acoustic. It sounds great, plays amazing and most importantly – it looks fantastic! The Custom Shop is really making great guitars. It has a nice light nitro finish and is aged. The guitar is really resonant acoustically, and the neck has a slight V that tapers off the further down you get. Feels like a 50s neck that still has all the lacquer on it.

As you can see, it comes with all the case candy. The guy only used it in the studio, he didn’t really gig with it, so the marks are straight from the factory! I still think that it is funny how an aged guitar can be considered in mint condition!

SOLD!! — 2012 Gretsch Custom Shop — SOLD!!!

GretschThis is a brand new custom shop duo jet. Awesome! Built By Steven Stern in the fender custom shop – this guitar plays and sounds amazing! We had a White Falcon in here that was made by him also that was fantastic as well. Why would you buy an old one that was built by a brooklyn house wife and wired with bell atlantic telephone wire when you can have this one for a fraction of the price and sounds much better? I asks’ ya?

1965 Epiphone El Dorado FT-90

This is an amazing, super clean 1965 Gibson Epiphone FT-90. It plays great, sounds great, and is all original. It has the adjustable cermaic saddle bridge. It has the original gray case, which is in as good condition as the guitar itself. The one from 1965 has the smaller neck width, which is really easy to play. The action is nice and low, the neck is straight and there is plenty of fret life left. This is a great guitar for a collector or a player.
