1953 Gretsch 6192 Natural

Del Vecchio

This is an amazing guitar. It was made in Brazil in the fifties or early sixties by a luthier named Del Vecchio. His instruments ranged from uke type instruments to lap steel's and and regular guitars. Almost all of his instruments were made with Brazilian rosewood (and this one is no exception!). This guitar has an extremely distinct sound. It has the neck and styling of a classical guitar, but the body has a biscuit for a bridge and extra sound holes like a resonator guitar.
